Dr. Bradley A. Wurth

Dr. Wurth, a Kentucky native, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was then accepted to and graduated from the University of Kentucky's prestigious College of Dentistry. Upon completion of his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Wurth completed a one year General Practice Residency at  the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

 

Dr. Wurth then completed a four year, hospital based residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. At  NUMC, Dr. Wurth ascended to the position of  Chief Resident.

Dr. Wurth was then accepted into the highly selective, fully accredited Fellowship in Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.  During this 12 month fellowship Dr. Wurth trained, one on one, with Dr. John E. Griffin, Jr., a highly accomplished and internationally known facial cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Griffin is an active lecturer and author in the field of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Wurth is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  This status is awarded to those surgeons who have completed a board certification process which involves both written and oral examinations. Dr. Wurth passed both of these examinations the first time he took each and has maintained this status since by meeting continuing education requirements, maintaining hospital privileges, and professional standards.  In addition, Dr. Wurth is a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Outside of his career, Dr. Wurth enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Mary Catherine Correll Wurth (a pediatric dentist) and his five young boys.
